    Julian:

• Capacity to succeed in biomechanics class. 

Eden:

• Hope to balance courses and student life better this semester. 

Molly:

• Heightened emotions and excitement about the semester ahead.

• Feeling of fear around my roommate who is having emergency surgery with a lot of risk for complications. 

• Prayer for peace and safety. 

• Holding tension between joy of new year and fear for roommate.  

Neeka:

• Feeling lonely and a bit disconnected from the roommates.

• Feeling a bit down about the transition back to campus and a new semester. 

• Prayer for loneliness and feeling down. 

Liezl:

• Transitioning back into school after being away for so long after surgery. 

• Feeling a sense of lost momentum with Professors not offering accommodation in an appropriate amount of time. 

• Lots of frustration around the lack of support from Brock because of the surgery keeping away from exams.  

Jack:

• Feel better from pneumonia.

Give thanks for God’s blessings:  growing student interest and participation for the gospel message, and the support received for this ministry, from Brock University.

Prayer praises and needs: NIS (Niagara International Students) Ministry January 2026 update.

1) continue to pray for 1 extra staff

2) more open doors at Niagara College

3) we are starting a new initiative, a NIS Ambassadors team, made up of students and recent graduates from across Niagara, to help with the ministry.

4) for God's Spirit to be poured out on our campuses.
